The Living Income Community of Practice (LICoP) has identified the need for guidance to support researchers and practitioners in assessing the gap between actual farming household incomes and estimates of the Living Income Benchmark in a particular location.

ISEAL, on behalf of the LICoP, engaged KIT Royal Tropical Institute and Committee on Sustainability Assessment (COSA) to develop components of a guidance for how to calculate and report living income gaps using existing household income data and Living Income Benchmarks.
